• All Clover devices are fine.
• Must have barcode scanner which is sold by clover (Cannot buy anywhere else) They have 2 options both will work.
• They will need Register plan which gives them access to “Per Unit” or “Variable” price type in inventory.
• Clover would have to be not just their payment terminal but it has to be their register as well.

• Setup inventory items in Clover

Since they have a CAS now and are used to it, does it make sense to stay with that brand or other suggestions?

Clover integrated any farther along or will programming still require a windows computer and usb connection?

With CAS they will always need Windows computer and USB connection. (Although some higher end models by cas offer wifi connection to computer)

With Detecto or USA Measurements there’s an option to do the programming on a computer and instead of connecting scale to computer the data is transferred to scale via USB Thumb Drive.  (First you download the data file to thumb drive from computer, then you plug the drive to scale and transfer the file with all the settings and data in it. )

There is no connection between the scale and Clover ever.

The Barcode Parser apps enable clover to read price or weight embedded barcodes.
