Problem Statement:

Merchant: HI, I have a Clover station and a scale and I have a Brother printer that hooks to it that will print UPC labels from easy label but I am struggling to figure out how to print variable weighted barcodes.

I have a small meat market where we use the Clover for sales and I don't use barcodes - but I am trying to put my products into a local grocery store and I have acquired my GS1 code and I have started generating barcodes but before I continue down this path, I need to figure out how to get a properly processed barcode through my system that I can add to my meat to then sell to the grocery store.

I have a CAS - SW Series Scale

Will your app help me for example - put a piece of meat on the scale - register it in clover - generate a variable weight barcode using my GS1 number?

Solution:

CSI Works Support: The setup you have may not work because you probably won’t be able to program the printer individually to print weight or price embedded barcodes.

I am recommending that you look at some of these scales that are best for meat markets and do the barcode label printing with price or weight embedded barcodes.
