An agent contacted our office because his merchant was using the Variable Price Barcode Parser and reported that the barcodes weren’t reading the correct information. Our merchant wrote:

“I set the merchant up to test their scale.

When the merchant scans this barcode clover reads 23.114 lb at $300.25

I am using the Variable Price Barcode Parser with 200035 in product code field.

We enabled the app in accessibility.”

For this type of an error, we asked that they uninstall Variable Price Barcode Parser and install Weight Embedded Barcode Parser.

This is because the label provided in the picture is Weight Embedded and not price embedded.
