Problem Statement:

Merchant: So, if we add all of our EBT approved items to the app, it will take off all the sales tax as it should if the person is going to using a EBT card to purchase the items. My question is what if they are not going to be using a EBT card, the app would need to add back on the sales tax correct?

How does it work in this situation?

Solution:

CSI Works Support: There is a button on payment screen that our app embeds using this button cashier can remove or add taxes back to EBT items.

I am having issues with the price ringing up correctly. The total amount from the weight scale is $6.83, but the total is coming out $706.83 every time. How do I get this resolved?

CSI Works Support:

Open Variable Price Barcode Parser App. You will see a settings icon on the top right corner. When you navigate to settings, you’ll see 2 different barcodes one for $999.99 and one for $99.99.

Choose the $99.99 barcode and hit save.

This will take care of the issue.

CSI Works Support:

I was able to get an answer from Clover about the permission error.

They said that because after you installed our app we changed permission settings and now to get all the new settings you have to uninstall and install the app again.  That should take care of the issue.
