Discount Scheduler handles discounts for tobacco products in a special way. When discounts are involving tobacco items, Discount Scheduler interfaces with the Tobacco Scan Data app and provides the discount information to Tobacco Scan Data for further processing in order to report this data back to companies.
The functionality of Discount Scheduler is limited to the Smart POS device, there is no other hardware interaction.
Discount scheduler is not capable of changing the base price of the item. It uses discounting, shows original price, and the applied discount.
