I see that a % for tax was added to the bottle surcharge. Do you know if we can also choose not to add taxes, as the app with CSIWORKS adds taxes on it at the total owing when no taxes should be added to the bottle deposit. Is this possible with your app?

It is possible and for that no CSI Works app is needed.

I was playing around with two of your apps and wanted to know if there’s a way to add a surcharge vs a discount.

For example, a scenario would be every time someone buys a coke bottle we had a 10 cent surcharge automatically.

Can Advanced Fees App be Used as Credit Card Surcharge Solution?

Merchant: I was wondering if you could help me figure out why this is happening?

I do have the advanced fee app installed and running. All orders that use credit cards get charged a 3.5% fee. I ran these transactions via loopz gift card app and they were run as store credits so the app shouldn’t charge a fee.

CSI Works Support: The app (Advanced Fees) is not designed for credit card surcharge.

It does not trigger on selection of payment type. In fact, we recently had Clover take the app off market for a few days while they investigate if we advertise it as such. We don’t.

It can trigger the fee based on a question which pops up only in Clover Register app.

Question can be controlled by you.

Merchant: Is there anyway for the fee question pop-up when you click the pay button not when you start the transaction?

CSI Works Support: There is not a way to trigger on Payment button.

Merchant: We are a restaurant and have Clover. We also have the 3rd party delivery services…Uber, Door Dash & Grub Hub.

We would like to set up delivery service pricing based on a % upgrade. We watched your YouTube video about the Price App looking for more information and a possible solution.

CSI Works Support: Price change manager would not work because triggering is based on schedule not anything else.
