An agent reached out needing help with the Negative Tender App, and Redeem Lottery App. He said that he had liked the Negative Tender App because of the reporting capabilities at the end of the day are great.

He printed the following demo transaction ticket

I presented both the Lotto payouts and negative tender apps. He likes Neg tender.  The reporting at days end is great.

In the demo we printed out the transaction ticket.

 

 

The agent explained the following:

The person bought $19.01 in merchandise and scratch cards and online lotto.  They paid for it with a $50 in lotto winnings.  The $19.01 purchase does show it was paid for by a lotto payout, but doesn’t show the amount of total lotto winnings or the change to the consumer.  The “Kitchen order” shows the $50 payout.  It works.

However, I went to the gas station across the street and we ran a sample ticket there.  We ran a transaction with a $1 Online purchase and a $2 scratchoff purchase and payed for by a $5 lotto payout.  That’s a $3 purchase and a $2 cashback. Everything shown in one ticket.  The merchant wants to be able to get to the simpler ticket if this can be done.

No, unfortunately it’s not possible to do it on one ticket.

Agent:

Not possible? Or not possible today but something you could do down the road??

Not on Clover. We don’t have access to their receipt on that level.

Is it possible to combine all the payouts on the Clover reporting to avoid a long report (attached)?

CSI Works Support:

The report shown below is an export from Clover Dashboard.

If you navigate to Clover device and open Negative Tender App. You’d be able to run reports inside the app.

The app provides report grouping either by: Employee, Payout Reason, Date.

Give it a try perhaps it will be more suitable than one from Dashboard.

We used your negative tender app for a while. The Clover system did not work for us and we have been getting charged $4.15/mo for several months now.  Can you cancel this app and return part of the money? If not, please just cancel $4.15/month please.

CSI Works Support:

The billing for 3rd Party apps is done by Clover.
We also do not have an ability to uninstall apps for merchants.
To stop billing please uninstall the apps from merchant account. If the hardware is returned, try logging into the Clover dashboard for merchant and uninstall apps that way.

I was wondering when it comes to the negative payout app, what is the best way to do it for someone that has won a free ticket?

For example, a customer comes in with a lotto ticket where he won a free ticket worth 3.00. He then decides to add a 2 dollar draw to that winning ticket. For us to keep record, we would do a 2.00 sale first choosing the lottery draw he wants then doing a payout of 3.00 for lottery then it will show he still owes us 2 correct?
