Hi, I work at a smoke shop and we downloaded your discount scheduler app. It is not syncing the discount within our three clovers it is only staying on the register we made the discount under. Is there any way to troubleshoot this?

You can do this in Discount Scheduler by editing existing discount and adding these items to it.

A Merchant was wondering if a business using the Discount Scheduler App by CSI Works would be able to set up specific times during the day where they can have the prices increase instead of decrease or have discounts during certain hours of the day?

Similar to a happy hour but with hire prices automatically.

Discount Scheduler is not designed to increase pricing. It is just about discounts for that app.

  1. We have finally been given the approval for RJR multi pack/can discounting. I assume I set that up the same way we set up Altria scan data discounting in Discount scheduler. Is that correct?
  2. Are you guys capable of reporting scan data to ITG? Our rep is offering some incentives if we also report our data to them, and we would like to take advantage of them if CSI Works has the capability.

  1. RJR multi pack discounts. Yes that can be setup in discount scheduler as an additional discount, I can assist if you need help.
  2. Yes. ITG is included in Reynold’s reporting to MSAi. You want to talk to them about it. From our end its already being done.

We might want to check to make sure that all ITG items are selected as items we report on but other than that things on our end are done.

Agent: Hey CSI Works! I'm looking for an app that does discounts in a more favorable way. I came across yours and it's great. It lets us select many items at once and discount them all at one shot. Clover discounts app only lets you discount everything together or one item at a time. 

 

So my question is this, am I able to restrict employees/servers from giving a discount with your app? So far in testing, I wasn't able to set the permissions in a way that would satisfy my needs. 

Solution Proposition:

CSI Works Support: We don’t have a way to restrict issuance of discounts. If you tried restricting the employee permissions from discounting and that did not work then we don’t have anything that would prevent it.

We do have an Employee Fraud Prevention app that monitors for undesirable activity and alerts via email. This app has an alert for issuance of discount by selected employee. There are other things it monitors as well.

The name of that app is Employee Tracker and can be found on the app market if this solution is feasible.

Is there a feature available for a weight-triggered discount? For example, if you buy 5 or more pounds of an item (like a 5lb bag of carrots), you receive a discount?

 

CSI Works Support: Yes, if you set up a discount on a unit based product this should work.

 

Merchant: Is it possible to stack discounts? For example, if an item is on sale, the customer would receive a discount. But we have a shoppers club, and those customers would also receive an extra 10% off certain items. Watching the videos, it seems like you’ve locked out stacked discounts.

 

CSI Works Support: This capability is currently unavailable but we are currently altering the functionality of this app to make it possible. It should be ready by November if not sooner.

 

Merchant: Are the discounts in Disocunt Scheduler listed by name in the Clover discounts report?

Merchant: Can you tag categories in the Manual Discounts app, like you can in Discount Scheduler? For example, our shoppers club only receives 10% off certain categories of items.

 

CSI Works Support: No, you are not able to tag categories on the Manual Discounts app as all discounts must be selected manually.

Merchant: I am searching for an app to integrate with Clover that will provide a level discount.

 

For example: A customer buys 6 or more of a certain product and the price drops $.50/each

 

Is this somthing that your app is capable of?

 

 

 

Solution Proposition:

CSI Works Pre-sale Support: Yes, this is something Discount Scheduler can handle assuming that bundling is for the same items and not mix and match. We use this functionality for something we call Scan data but its pure bundling functionality that you can use as well.

 

So, when customer buys 6 cans of coke for example, we can setup the discount to trigger on all 6 items or on every 6th item.

 

What the app cannot do is let you pick any six items from the previously assigned list and discount all different items if bundled.
