Redeem Lottery app is a stand alone app in which merchants can process payouts for winning lottery tickets.
When merchants need to sell customers something and process the payout in the case with Redeem lottery, it will be handled as two separate transactions. Merchants would first process the sale and then payout; or vise version first payout then sale, but not together whereby using the payout to apply as payment against what the customer is looking to purchase.

Any retail operators whether C-Store or others who sell state lotterys also cash out winning lottery tickets. This app is designed to help these store operators to keep track of their lottery cash outs in their own POS system. The validation and payout still takes place on devices provided by the state lottery but keeping track of payouts in your own POS will allow store owners to reconcile and keep track of their finances with the state lottery. Example Business Scenario:
Customers would like to cash out a winning lottery ticket. The merchant would open the Redeem Lottery app and navigate to redeem winning tickets. The merchant would then navigate to the game they wish to redeem and process the payout.
Once you install the app on your Clover hardware you can open the app and select the state you operate in. Once the state is selected the draw games will show up.
